These workshops are designed specifically for students across all age levels, offering an introduction to learning through creation, connection, and storytelling.

Through guided beading activities, students are invited to:

• Learn foundational beading skills
• Explore creativity and self-expression
• Engage in age-appropriate teachings around connection, respect, and belonging
• Experience learning in a hands-on, supportive environment
   

Each session is adapted to the age group, ensuring that content is accessible, engaging, and meaningful.

• Youth groups and community programs

Weaving the Bundle invites children into a space where learning happens through creativity, storytelling, and connection to language.

Through hands-on, art-based activities, participants explore relationships to land, to one another, and to the teachings carried within Haudenosaunee ways of knowing.

In these sessions, children engage in projects such as:

• treaty map collages
• wampum-inspired loom creations
• painting connections to Mother Earth
• Turtle Island rock art
• longhouse-based builds
• Indigenous author book club (book selection based on age/reading level)
• Celebrating Indigenous Artists through history
• music moments- the importance of music and connection to the natural world
• Art as means of independence, self expression, storytelling, symbolism and success
  

Each activity is guided with intention, offering opportunities to learn and engage with Cayuga language in a way that is accessible, meaningful, and connected to experience.

Rather than learning through instruction alone, participants are invited to create, explore, and reflect building understanding through doing. These sessions create a supportive and engaging environment where creativity and language come together, allowing children/youth to feel connected, grounded, and confident in their learning.
